As a leader in electric vehicle manufacturing, Mullen Automotive is growing quickly and by the beginning of 2023 they needed more workspace. Mullen selected Sunon to manage the design and furniture procurement for the 14,000 sq foot expansion of their HQ in Brea, California. Mullen’s leaders wanted a work area that could accommodate a lot of people, while giving everyone more privacy. They also wanted desks with a large amount of worksurface and chose UP1 desks with 72” tops. The client preferred a simple, classic aesthetic. For meeting rooms, that meant Aulenti wood veneer tables and Calm leather seating. Mullen also recognized the importance of social spaces and diverse seating options. For the café, they chose both seated- and bar-height settings to encourage engagement and communication with their employees,
